Face and body lifting procedures with PDO which is called spider-web are also applied in our clinic with great success. Such procedures should be applied by plastic surgeons, who are expert on facial anatomy. PDO is the thread used as sutures during the operations. They are applied on face or body with the help of thin needles. Its effect lasts for two years. It is an advantage to pure hyaluronic acid during this procedure. With gold thread, polymerized threads should be used. In the past, gold threads did not melt within the body; which sounded as an advantage, but then it turned out to be a disadvantage. Gold threads that we use now do melt in five years. However, our patients should remember that they should not expect a miraculous result. Local anesthetic lotions and skin antiseptics are applied on the skin during the procedure. 35-40 sutures in average will be sufficient for face. The more sutures applied, the worse the result will be. The effect will be seen immediately and will become definite in three weeks. It is appropriate to take a pain killer once a day in the meantime. Bleeding or bruises are not expected. A fresher look is awaiting you.
